The following rules are additional to those laid out in the current BC and UCI handbook of 2010.
These are the 2010 rules that DG Events insist on at each of their races. Penalties are shown in brackets().
DG Rules
All riders must sign on before practising the course (5 seconds penalty on Sundays race time) - UCi fine is 30 Swiss Fancs
Riding the course without being entered (£75.00 fine and one year ban from any DG Event)
Sign on closes Saturday at 11:00a.m (Unable to ride or race)

Competitors must have completed two full runs on the course by the end of Saturday
No defacing number boards. The number boards remain the property of DG Events until the end of your race season at the Nationals (5 seconds penalty on Sundays race time and £5.00 to replace the board)
Helmet cameras must not be worn or attached during seeding or race runs.
From the BC rule book:
6.0.13 Only the organisation may place advertising on the Front Number Plate, the Body Number, and the Shoulder Number.

- You can add the cost of replacing the board as well.
8.1.3 Only riders and officials wearing a helmet and displaying a valid Number Plate on the front of the bike, will be allowed onto the course during official training periods.
From the UCI rule book:
1.3.076 Riders shall ensure that their identification number is visible and legible at all times. The identification number shall be well fixed and may not be folded or altered.

Helmet strap undone second time (Disquallified from riding for the remainder of the weekend, number board removed and returned to registration)
Helmet strap not properly attached first time (Held in finish arena until Commissaire speaks to you)

Helmet strap not properly attached third time (Disquallified from riding for the remainder of the weekend, numboard removed and returned to registration)
Skinsuits or lycra shorts may not be used during timed race runs.
Peaks must be correctly attached to your helmet as the manufacturer intended.
Under suspicion of theft, the police will be called and you will be detained until their arrival.
Acts of violence, intimidation or vandalism will receive a life time ban.
This list is non exhaustable.
You will have to wait in the finish arena until the appointed BC Commissaire comes to speak to you regards any of the above. Please be aware that the Commissaire may well be up the course and you may have to wait some time before he is able to speak to you, thus loosing you valuable practise time.

Cancellation by you:
If you wish to cancel a booking please note the following cancellation conditions:
Over 4 weeks notice: full refund
2-4 weeks notice: 50% refund
Less than 2 weeks notice: no refund
Transfers under 7 days notice not applicable.
Transfers for 8 days or more will be processed.
All cancellations and transfers must be made in writing and received by the timescales above.
Cancellation by DG Events:
DG Events reserves the right to modify or cancel any event if unforeseen circumstances, these include cancellation of event beyond the control of the organiser due to weather, uncontrolled acts of God, violence, civil disobedience, war will not receive a refund. Please note this list is none exhaustable.
By registering to attend an event, you have confirmed that you have read and understood our cancellation policy.
Points
The first three rounds are UCI Category 2 rated which means there are points awarded to the top ten Elite riders of the day.

Rd 1 - 10th and 11th of April at Rheola - UCI cat 2
Rd 2 - 8th and 9th of May at Fort William - UCI cat 2
Rd 3 - 26th and 27th of June at Llangollen - UCI cat 2
Rd 4 - 7th and 8th of August at Moelfre - NPS 4x Saturday Night!
Rd 5 - 25th and 26th of September Caersws
UCI points will be awarded as follows for both the elite men’s and women’s categories.
1st - 30 points
2nd - 20 points
3rd - 15 points
4th - 12 points
5th - 10 points
6th - 8 points
7th - 6 points
8th - 4 points
9th - 2 points
10th -1 point
All of five races are BC sanctioned and everybody that is racing will hold a valid BC license. The following shows how many points are available for 1st = 60 points down to 40th = 1 point.
B.C points are awarded to the top 40 riders in each category as follows:
